Show the paywall before asking people to sign up
Host takes it as more proof paywall-first works better; no numbers
Unknownpaywallonboarding
What they did
At the end of onboarding the user hits a hard paywall with a free trial, and only then the sign-up screen (sign-up could be skipped in the pre-acquisition version). In the current version a discount is offered after the paywall, then sign-up; content stays locked for non-Peloton members.
What happened
No Breathwrk results; host says it is more proof that paywall before sign-up works a bit better
“And then I was given a discount, and then sign up. So again, for those who have sign up before paywall, more proof that paywall before sign up works a bit better.”
“Paywall. It's hard paywall. Oh, they started a free trial, awesome. You can skip the sign up, but or you can sign up.”
