Add social proof, a short video and tap-to-answer questions before asking for goals
Users reaching the paywall rose from ~50-60% to 85-90%; conversion doubled
Workedonboarding
What they did
Original onboarding: login, name, type your goals, then the dream-life story; many dropped at typing goals because trust wasn't built. Expanded it with social proof ('proven methods, meaningful results', inspirations, people who have done it), an onboarding video and a few progressive button questions to personalize before any typing. Screens use very few words (TikTok-caption style) because users won't read paragraphs; buttons give a small dopamine hit, like Duolingo.
What happened
Install-to-paywall went from ~50-60% to 85-90%; he says it doubled conversion. Paywall-to-trial stayed around 15-20%.

“People don't want to go in an app and like immediately type in a paragraph. Having buttons that you can click”
