Reframe · B2C · app for drinking less
Partner with online groups already serving your users, with a discount and revenue share
First couple thousand subscribers came from this; channel has since got crowded
Workedcommunitypartnerships
What they did
Approached small online communities that already helped people cut back on drinking (e.g. groups for moms) with the pitch: instead of only giving your members strategies, here is a science-based tool with everything they need. Not all said yes; a few did, and persistence mattered. Partner communities got discounts for their members, and some co-created programs for their community with Reframe under a revenue share. At the time (2020-21) communities and influencers were a largely untapped channel.
What happened

“"Hey, like instead of just like, you know, telling uh your user strategies, I mean there's a tool here that's got everything that they need. Um this could be like a big benefit uh to your community."”
“We did give them discounts and like, you know, we did- so we worked, we collaborated with some of these communities early on to like even create the tools. So there was like a so we had like a revenue share with them as well”
“we got our first couple thousand subscribers, actually, from that route”
