In their words
$140K MRR Niche Dating App in Just 6 Months
… people I didn't know, people from the forum. And the second one was only people I didn't know. So that was nice. And actually a small anecdote from that one is the first run. So my best friend was here and he actually met someone I didn't know or girl I didn't know. And they're still together. It's like, it has been like one year and a half right now. So I can't tell it. I can't tell the story for myself because I've been in a relationship for
year and a half as well but he met his girlfriend thanks to the run club uh that's good for you did you wait did you promote it on local forums or how did you get people to get awareness for this one club um so i did a few reels on instagram that was the the start then i i sponsored some posts so i didn't know anything about ads or anything like this before but you know instagram like uh gets you the possibility to put a bit of money on your post so that it's shown to more
people i did this like two times maybe and the number of followers did grow up thanks to this and afterwards it was like you know 200 300 followers and just people signed up from this that's amazing bro i love it super simple okay let's get back into the app itself yeah so that's how i started actually that's how i tested and validated the concept there were also two apps in france that i'm gonna mention in a few slides that were already doing this so i was like all all right, if they are doing it, I can do it as well.
So yeah, the app itself, it's a dating app, but it's exclusively for active singles, for people that do sports. I would say sometimes a lot of people ask me, what would you define someone that practices sports? My definition is someone that practices sport at least once a week is an active single. That's, for me, the baseline of it. Okay. Let me share the screenshots. Yeah, definitely. So yeah, the app is how you see it right now.
