Recreate real people's job-offer videos with actors; sell in the comments
Dan calls it illegal; commenters caught on and videos are being taken down

What they did
PrepAI copied viral videos of real people landing jobs or getting laid off word for word with actors, making it seem the creator landed a job, then converted in heavily moderated comments ('I got it from PrepAI', 'use my code'). Also copied Massive's onboarding, colors and buttons. Dan warns against it as illegal (FTC risk).
What happened
Called out publicly; appears to be taking videos down.

In their words
The Superwall Podcast · Dan Vykhopen - This app makes $2m/year using this ridiculously easy strategy“The video has nothing to do with like converting people. It's a Trojan horse to like get comments and engagement and then convert people in the comments.”
“So they grabbed viral videos of people landing jobs, and some of the creators we worked with too, they were like, "Holy shit, like this was my real like layoff video or my real job offer acceptance video," and they copied word-for-word.”
“It looks like they started to take it down, thankfully. Looks like they got called out for it.”
