Mario Manero & Alejandro Sanchez - Our App Makes $30K/Month Profit Using This Simple Strategy (copy us)
Joseph ChoiHave you guys had progress um working with US-based UGC creators, US-based students, things like that?
Alejandro SanchezWe cannot really talk about the inside results we had, because we just started this. I guess like we can talk about like the things that apply to everyone. So, so pretty much, it's very important that the UGC creators warm their accounts properly. So, like 3 to 4 days of engaging with the algorithm, you know, following people, you want to create posts that are not related to the company. If you immediately start promoting the app, the TikTok algorithm is gonna they might like shadowban you. So, you want to like post 3 to 4 posts, you know, in the general, you know, niche. For example, in our case is, "How many push-ups can you do?" Like, like stuff like that, right? And then, you start slowly promoting the app. So, that's definitely something that applies to everyone. Besides that, I would always recommend like don't go cheap on, you know, your first 4 or like 5 creators. You want a solid backbone, right? If you pay them $400 per month, it's gonna show. Like, you won't get the quality. And versus like $1,000, you most likely will will get a lot higher-quality videos, and it's more likely that they're gonna go viral. So, that's the philosophy we we we sort of use. There's also the philosophy of, you know, mass creation, which, in some cases, it works, and then you can even use AI, but I think we tried it. And in our case, you know, investing more into quality is is always a better uh option for us.
Joseph ChoiIf someone's watching, and they want to open up 30k a month organic channel, in addition to whatever they're doing right now, what would you say is the first thing that you would do? Cuz you've done influencer, you've done organic, you've done it with Manychat. What do you think is the first thing that someone should do if they're if they have an app already and they're trying to get organic success, like you guys have?
Alejandro Sanchez… find videos of your competitors, and just copy. Like, don't reinvent the wheel. Of course, like don't copy one-to-one. You want to look at the hooks, specifically the hooks, and you want to dissect why the hook worked. In our case, we we copied this from from another competitor. And we just adapted it slightly, we even improved it a little bit. And it worked. If you see something works in this niche, you can apply it as well to your own niche.
Mario Ortiz ManeroAnd in terms of like where to start, I think, first of all, you're not going to have a lot of money when you're starting, most likely. So, organic is a really nice way to get some initial views. But then also like, when you're trying to do UGC, you don't want to give like the UGC creator like full flexibility on what what you want to do. That's more like influencer, right? So, in any case, you want to do organic for sure, because if you see a format that's going viral organically, then that's when you decide, "All right, let's do UGC with it to scale it up." Like, UGC is more like for scaling from my point of view. Uh maybe influencers for like more like reach, or also some sort of UGC. But organic is also like always a nice way to validate ideas and and to like be in there, like knowing, knowing everything.
Alejandro SanchezThe most profitable thing you can do is really find a winning format. And in our case, that yeah, we found it, and we just rinse and repeat until it doesn't work. And ideally, you have 3 to 4 different formats, because if you do the same format, it's gonna fatigue at some point. That's really like the most profitable thing you can do yourself. And it's also gonna help with with influencers, it's gonna help with, right, UGC, and especially like …
