Before the paywall, add "We want you to try it free" and social proof screens
Resumee-style reminder screen didn't work as well; new version's results not shared
Mixedpaywall
What they did
First tried a Resumee-style screen before the paywall ('we want to offer 7 days free, you'll get a reminder'); it underperformed. Then switched to two screens before the normal paywall: 'We want you to try [app] for free' with benefits as a still image or video, then 'Try for $0, no payment due' with social proof, then the usual paywall, changing nothing else.
What happened
The Resumee-style version did not work as well; results of the newer version not given.
“What I told another client was, "Do this on your paywall." He did it, it didn't work as well, the Resumee one.”
“we want you to try for free, you have some of the benefits with a static or video, try for free, try for zero, no payment due. Number one in marketing idiot, social proof, and then hit them with the timeline or your normal paywall.”
